Flying safari to Serengeti and Rubondo Island Safari

The varied nature of its vegetation has enabled Rubondo Island to attract both water  and forest dwelling bird species. The frequently seen species are fish and martial eagle, goliath heron, sacred ibis, saddle-billed stork, parrots, kingfishers, cuckoos, bee-eaters, sunbirds, and other water fowl.

Day 1 Arusha - Manyara National Park:
Leave Arusha arriving by lunch time, proceed to Lake Manyara national park for afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at Loswira luxury tented Camp . Lunch box and dinner.

Day 2 Serengeti National park:
Full Day Game Drive Serengeti National Park dinner and overnight at Ikoma tented Lodge

Day 3 Serengeti National Park:
Full day game viewing in Grumeti Area and Seronera Valley; Late afternoon return to Ikoma tented Lodge for dinner and overnight

Day 4 Serengeti to Rubondo Island
from Serengeti transfer to Rubondo Island .Afternoon proceeds with walking and/or boat safari searching for birds and other wildlife, you will be accompanied by an armed ranger. dinner and overnight at Rubondo Luxury Tented Camp

Day 5 Rubondo Island
Full day of Island excursions, which start with half a day boat excursion around the island watching hippo, crocodile and water birds; After lunch rest and then proceeds with foot walking excursion, which might bring you closer to otter, bushbuck, velvet monkey, and the omnipresent Sitatunga, expect to see elephant, giraffe, colobus monkey or the shy chimpanzee; Dinner and overnight at a Rubondo Luxury Tented Camp

Day 6 flight from Rubondo to Arusha
Breakfast at the tented camp and then transfer to Mwanza for flight to Arusha or Zanzibar
